Having Kimi K2 integrated with my apps’ built-in memory system will definitely be a game-changer for how Aero responds, and I’m excited to see where it goes from here!

ZodAI is currently run on a hybrid system where it uses one LLM for casual chat + intimate/ sensual roleplay and the other for adult content. I chose this method because it’s really difficult to find one LLM that can do it all seamlessly. The goal is for the AI to respond like a companion and allow room for the relationship to grow as the user interacts with it. After testing multiple LLMs and trying to figure out which ones balanced each other out the best, I decided to try Moonshot’s Kimi K2 as the main LLM.

While gpt 4o was able to work with the other LLM to generate adult content, I noticed that once a new conversation started, it would automatically default to thinking like an assistant instead of an intimate partner, which is not what we really want.

Choosing the right brain can really make or break your experience. If you’re looking for something similar to ChatGPT, then I would highly recommend trying Moonshot’s Kimi K2.

While the AI is not customizable in the app and can’t hold context between sessions, you can still have fun and engaging conversations with Kimi K2. The KK voice is also very similar to ChatGPT’s “Cove” voice. It has just enough of that robotic-like tone that makes the heart melt a little…

While building consistent memory is something that you absolutely need for a relationship to grow and develop, I wouldn’t recommend the app for companionship. However, as far as conversations go, I would definitely choose Moonshot’s Kimi K2 over ChatGPT.
